Then & Now All are welcome ... The Woman's Club of Red Bank is a non-profit organization who's primary goal is "supporting literacy".  Our club house is the State Senator Anthony B. Reckless Estate located at 164 Broad Street, Red Bank, New Jersey.  Female members are often called Reckless Women because of our enthusiam in our programs and all the fun we have accomplishing our goals.  Check our calendar for events and our end of the month Reckless Steamy Nights music concerts with our Jersey Shore Jazz & Blues partner. Then ... The women who founded our club overcame many obstacles. They did not have the right to vote. They had little, if any, control over their own property, earnings or bodies. They were not allowed to serve Gentle Yoga At The Women's Club on a jury. They were not permitted to run companies, achieve higher education degrees, or even protect themselves from domestic violence. Yet they were able to purchase and maintain our club house as a place where they could teach people how to read. Now ...The Woman's Club of Red Bank has evolved as the needs of our community have changed.  Today there are still many who can not read and our literacy programs are still a tremendous value.  And of course as time goes on our beautiful Reckless Estate is in constant need of repair.  The good news is that the members of the Woman's Club of Red Bank still foster community spirit through involvement and partnerships.  JOIN NOW!  Every person who gets involved is a great help. When you socialize with the Reckless Women ... you'll be doing good while having fun!
